Most people my age share a nostalgic feeling the our old grey and black Nintendos. Mario, Contra, Zelda, Metroid all classic games, but what about the games that never made it out? For a variety of reasons, development costs, time constraints, quality many games never get out of the prototype stage, and are never released to the public. So Ive compiled together 17 unreleased game roms, many are cobbled together prototypes, or in the case of Donkey Kong Country 4 its a fan port made years after the NES died. Another interesting gem in there are Scarabeus it was being ported from the GameBoy but was never completed so the whole game is in grey and black. To anyone unfamiliar with how to play a ‘rom’ file, you will need an emulator to open them. So for windows gamers click here, and mac gamers click here to download your respective emulators.
